UP Police Constable Recruitment Exam was held between August 23 to 31, 2024. Candidates who are successful in the UP Police written exam will be called for physical and medical test. The documents of all candidates will also be verified by the board. It is necessary to qualify all the rounds for a government job in UP Police. The scorecards are expected to be released by the third week of November. Information about category-wise cut-off marks, and the number of eligible candidates will also be given on the scorecards.
More than 48 lakh youth had applied for the job of constable in the police department of Uttar Pradesh. More than 30 lakh of them had taken the exam. In February, the UP Police paper was canceled due to leakage. Strict steps were taken to prevent incidents like cheating and paper leaks in the UP Police re-exam.
The final answer key of the exam was released on November 2, 2024. Candidates can download it from the official website uppbpb.gov.in till November 9. As per the marking scheme, a negative mark of one mark will be given if any answer is wrong.
Following the written exam results, shortlisted candidates will participate in physical examinations such as the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and the Physical Measurement Test (PMT). This will be followed by a document verification and medical test round.
