The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has commenced the online registration process for the CA Foundation and Intermediate exams which are scheduled for January 2025. Candidates can apply for the respective exams by visiting the official website of ICAI at icai.org.
According to the schedule, the deadline to submit the ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate January Exam 2025 is November 23 this year. Candidates must keep in mind that they can apply online for the exam with late fees of Rs 600 by November 26, 2024. Once the registration process ends, the application correction window will open from November 27 to 29, 2024.
ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2025: Eligibility Criteria
CA Foundation: The candidate must be enrolled in the Foundation Course by no later than September 1, 2024. On the day of the exam, the candidate’s status changes from CPT to Foundation. The candidate must have taken or passed Class 12 at an accredited school. They must provide their Class 12 mark sheet or admission card to SSP.
CA Intermediate: To take the January 2025 CA Intermediate exam, candidates must have finished an 8-month study programme as of January 1, 2025, which means they must have registered by the May 1, 2024, deadline.
ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2025: Steps To Register
Step 1: Go to the official website of ICAI at icai.org.
Step 2: Search and click on the direct URL that is provided on the homepage.
Step 3: First, complete the registration process. Then log in again on the portal.
Step 4: Fill out the form as asked and upload all the necessary documents.
Step 5: Pay the application fee and submit the form as directed.
ICAI CA Foundation and Intermediate January 2025 Exam Schedule
As per the official timetable, the CA Intermediate 2025 exams are set to commence with Group I papers on January 11, 13, and 15, 2025. It will be followed by Group II exam papers which will be held on January 17, 19, and 21, 2025. Meanwhile, the CA Foundation exams are said to take place on January 12, 14, 16, and 18, 2025. It is a Descriptive cum Objective type examination of 400 marks comprising four papers.
