Chef Vishnu Manohar Prepares Massive 7,000 Kg Ram Halwa For Ram Lalla On Consecration Day

Ram Halwa: Chef Vishnu Manohar is gearing up for the January 22 consecration ceremony at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. The Nagpur chef plans to whip up a whopping 7,000 kg of ‘Ram Halwa,’ as reported by ANI. “After offering it to Ram Lala, this prasad will be distributed to about 1 and a half lakh people,” as per the report. Chef Manohar revealed that they’ll be making ‘Suji ka Halwa’ for the ceremony, using a special cauldron (kadhai) with a massive 12,000-liter capacity.

A Special Kadhai For 7,000 Kg Of Halwa

This kadhai will be transported from Nagpur to Ayodhya. The spatula that will be used to cook the halwa weighs 10 to 12 kg. “The weight of this kadhai is 1300 to 1400 kg. This is made of steel, and the central part is made of iron so that when halwa is made, it does not burn. The size is 10 feet by 10 feet. It has a capacity of 12,000 litres, and 7,000 kg of halwa can be made in it. A crane is required to lift it. The spatula, weighing 10 to 12 kg, has holes in it so that it is easy to cook,” ANI quoted Chef Vishnu Manohar.

1,000 Kg Of Ghee, Sugar And More To Be Used In Preparation

To prepare the ‘Ram Halwa,’ the chef further shared that they will be using about 900 kg of suji, 1000 kg of ghee, 1000 kg of sugar, 1500-2000 litres of milk, 2000-2500 litres of water, 75 kg of cardamom powder, and 300 kg of almonds and raisins.

Possible World Record in Making

Chef Manohar has entered his name in the Book of World Records multiple times in the past. In 2022, he entered his name for the 12th time by preparing 75 dishes from 75 varieties of rice – a total of 375 kg of rice delicacies, completed in 285 minutes.
