The final result for UPPSC cardiologists was declared on May 22.
The interview round for the recruitment of Cardiologists was held on May 17, out of which only 6 from the unreserved category were shortlisted.
Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) recently invited applications for 134 vacant posts of cardiologists under the Ministry of Medical Health and Family Welfare. The final result for this was declared on May 22. Out of this 128 posts, including the Forensic Specialist remained vacant.
As per the recruitment notification issued by the Commission, out of 134 vacancies, 55 seats were for candidates belonging to unreserved categories, 36 for Other backward Classes (OBCs), 28 for Scheduled Caste (SC) 2 for Scheduled Tribe and 13 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS).
The interview round for the recruitment of Cardiologists was held on May 17, out of which only 6 from the unreserved category were shortlisted. As per Vinod Kumar Singh, Joint Secretary of the Commission, there will be recruitment again and this time for the vacant posts.
On Wednesday, May 22, the Commission released the result of Forensic Specialist Recruitment. Under this, there were 57 vacancies. Due to non-availability of eligible candidates, 53 posts remained vacant. In Forensic Specialist, there were 16 vacancies for candidates belonging to unreserved categories, 20 for Other Backward Classes (OBCs), 15 for Schedules Caste (SC), 1 for Scheduled Tribes (ST) and 5 for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The interview round was held on May 17. Only 4 candidates were shortlisted- Praveen Dixit, Ajay Kumar, Vaibhav Gupta and Divya Bhushan.
Joint Secretary of Commission, Vinod Kumar Singh shared that due to the non-availability of candidates, 12 posts of unreserved category, all 20 posts for Other Backward Classes (OBCs),
15 of Scheduled Caste (SC), 1 of Scheduled Tribe (ST) and all five posts of Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) remained vacant.
Previously, the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) was recruiting Medical officers grade 2 for various posts. The recruitment was held to fill vacancies of 2,532 posts.
