Tamil Nadu class 10 and 12 Result 2024 is expected to be released next week by the Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu, according to media reports. The results for Class 10 (SSCL) and Class 12 (Plus 2/ HSC), though not yet officially published, could be released on May 10 and May 6 respectively, according to several media portals. There has been no announcement regarding the result’s timing.
All candidates who appeared for the class 10 SSLC plus 2 exam can check the results on the official website, tnresults.nic.in, once they are declared. The class 12 (Plus 2) results for all three streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts will be released on the same day. The dge1.tn.nic.in, dge2.tn.nic.in, and dge.tn.gov.in are some alternative websites to check for the official result announcement.
The Class 10 SSCL exams this year were held from March 26 to April 8, while Class 12 board exams took place in the state from March 1 to March 22 at various exam venues. For the Tamil Nadu Class 12 board exam 2024, the state has seen almost 8 lakh candidates appearing for the tests.
Tamil Nadu Board SSLC, Plus 2 Results 2024: How to Check
Step 1: Go to the official website, tnresults.nic.in.
Step 2: For Class 10th, select ‘TN Board Class 10th (SSCL) Result 2024’, and for Class 12th, select ‘TN Board Class 12th (Plus 2) Result 2024’.
Step 3: Type in the given captcha code, your date of birth, and your roll number and then click on the Submit button.
Step 4: The Tamil Nadu Board Class 10th or 12th Result 2024 will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Save the download option to save the respective Tamil Nadu board 2024 results.
In the past year, 9,14,320 students sat the Class 10 exam, while 8,03,385 sat for the Class 12 Tamil Nadu board exam. Results for class 12 showed an overall pass rate of 94.03 per cent in 2023. A total of 96.32 per cent of students had passed the science stream class 12 exam, 91.63 per cent passed the commerce stream, and 81.89 per cent passed the arts stream last year. In contrast, last year’s pass percentage for class 10 SSLC students was 91.39 per cent.
