Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim got married in February 2018. They welcomed Ruhaan last year in June.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim are one of the most loved celebrity couples. They often entertain fans by sharing insights into their personal lives through daily vlogs. Recently, the two celebrated their son Ruhaan’s first birthday. Offering a glimpse of the joyous celebration, both Dipika and Shoaib uploaded videos on their YouTube channels.
In Shoaib Ibrahim’s latest vlog, his mother was seen praising Dipika Kakar for the way she has managed the family and Ruhaan. She said, “Ever since Ruhaan was born, it has been a big thing to take care of him, to take care of the house, to do everything. All the hard work that she has put in, I have seen it. Bohot samajhdaar hai meri bahu Mujhe naaz hai ispe, fakr hai. Meri bahu bahut achhi hai. (My daughter-in-law is very intelligent, I am proud of my daughter-in-law).” We can see happy tearns rolling down Dipika Kakar’s cheeks.
Later, Dipika Kakar and her mother-in-law share a warm hug and said, “Main bohot khush hun, bohot achi hai ye (I am very happy, she is very good).”
Adding to this, Shoiab Ibrahim said, “It is not that other mothers don’t take care of their children and don’t do all the things. The way Dipika for a whole year during pregnancy and mostly after that… because in pregnancy, sometimes you don’t understand so much, you don’t know. Yes, internal things, complications or problems, hormones change, that happens. But when the baby is delivered, after that, not getting sleep, body changes, hiccups, postpartum, all those things that happen and after that, I always tell her that it’s not like that, that today we have this privilege. Like Dipika always says, ‘I have the privilege of being able to stay at home. I was able to choose.’ There are many women, who don’t have any choice. They have to go to work.”
“But even after having that privilege and after having such a successful career, after reaching its peak, Dipika Kakar decided not to work for 2-3 years, saying she would only take care of Ruhaan, I think I have seen this in very few people today. I used to feel proud of her and I still feel very proud of her. The way she handled Ruhaan without putting me under pressure… I think it’s a duty of a husband, that we can only do this much that we can support our wife during that period. We can motivate them,” he added.
Dipika Kakar and Shoaib Ibrahim first met on the sets of the show Sasural Simar Ka and eventually, their love blossomed and the duo got married in February 2018. They welcomed Ruhaan last year in June.
On the professional front, Dipika Kakar was last seen in the 2020 TV show Kahan Hum Kahan Tum. She also emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss Season 12. Shoaib Ibrahim, on the other hand, was recently seen in the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, where he finished as the first runner-up.
