New show on Sony TV will not replace Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka.

The latest report has confirmed that the fan-favourite serial is not ending anytime soon.

Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka, a daily soap starring Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon, has captivated the interests of viewers ever since its premiere on Sony TV. The audience loves the chemistry between the lead pair, and the enthralling plot has garnered much praise. Recently, there were rumours circulating on the internet that the show may soon go off air. However, the latest report has confirmed that the fan-favourite serial is not ending anytime soon.

According to a report by India Forums, Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka will not be going off air. It claims that rumours about the impending cancellation of this romance drama are false, and the portal claims that they have sought information from sources close to the show and production house.

The source mentioned, “This news has been circulating for a while now, and we do not understand where it is coming from. We have also read stories claiming that the show is ending because Kushal is going on vacation. Seriously? Does that even make sense? Kushal has been the most cooperative and professional on the show.” The source confirmed that the lead actor is going on a vacation, but that has no relation to the termination of the show. Furthermore, the source added that Kushal is one of the most talented actors they have worked with.

The speculation about the show going off air started after a report by Telly Chakkar mentioned its termination from the channel. But the exact reason and time are unknown. However, many other reports suggested that the channel’s new show Mehndi Wala Ghar, could replace Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka. The promo for the new show has been released, but the release date and time is yet to be announced.

Addressing the issue, the source told India Forums, “Yes, the channel has two or three new shows lined up, but they are still in the pipeline.” The portal mentioned that Srimad Ramayan, another new title on the channel will replace Kaun Banega Crorepati and this will create slots for two other shows. None of these new series, however, will take the place of Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon’s show.

Barsatein- Mausam Pyaar Ka is produced by Ekta and Shobha Kapoor under the banner of Balaji Telefilms. Since its premiere on July 10 this year, it has struck a connection with fans. The plot revolves around Aradhana, a committed journalist, and Reyansh, her boss. Life takes a turn for them as Reyansh believes Aradhana took advantage of him due to a misunderstanding but later realises his mistakes.
