Shark Tank India, the most talked-about business reality TV show, has returned for a third season following two successful seasons. With a larger panel of 12 sharks, the latest season promises to be even more fascinating. Shark Tank India has captivated audiences since its inception with its unique premise of budding entrepreneurs pitching their ideas to potential investors. The show’s popularity has surged, making it popular among Indian startup owners. In the most recent episode of Shark Tank India 3, a confectionery company approached the stage to present its unique concept and left the judges stunned.

Priyasha Saluja, the owner of The Cinnamon Kitchen, a plant-based confectionery firm, presented her pitch in front of sharks Aman Gupta, Namita Thapar, Vineeta Singh, Anupam Mittal, and Deepinder Goyal. She stated that her products included no preservatives and that the prepared snacks were completely gluten-free. During her presentation to the judges, Priyasha said that she founded her company in 2019 and has seen remarkable success. She stated that sales in the first year totaled Rs 1,40,000, but increased to Rs 12,50,000 the following year. Furthermore, Priyanshi astonished the sharks by declaring that her company’s consistent sales development will result in sales worth Rs 6 crores this year.

While Anupam Mittal pointed out the poor packaging of the products, most sharks showed interest in the venture. After a lengthy conversation about The Cinnamon Kitchen and other features of the bread business, the Sharks begin their pitches by mentioning their interest rates.

Upon learning the rates, Priyasha replied, “I have a very good credit score. I’m already getting a loan at a lower interest rate.” This further stunned the sharks and Anupam Mittal asked her to reveal her credit score. Surprising everyone on the panel, Priyasha mentioned that it’s 838.

After much negotiation, Aman Gupta made the final offer of Rs 60 lakh for 5 per cent equity, and they sealed the deal.
