Karan Kundrra Adds Iconic HM Contessa To His Car Collection

Karan Kundrra, who is gearing up for the release of Tera Kya Hoga Lovely with Ileana D’Cruz and Randeep Hooda, recently added a vintage car to his garage. Taking to official Instagram, the actor shared glimpses of his new ride, which is a striking HM Contessa, along with an interesting back-story. The series of photos featured Karan posing stylishly beside the car, along with on top of and even at the back. The images suggest that the actor wasted no time as he was seen cruising around the city with the beauty and even took the vehicle to the iconic Bandra-Worli sea link. Karan expressed his excitement by revealing that he spotted and instantly fell in love with this beauty in Munnar. The classic blue muscle car, originally designed by Vauxhall, has been discontinued long back and Karan likely acquired the car from a fellow car enthusiast.

According to OTT Play, the vintage car generates 88 bhp power, 135 nm torque and features a 1.8-liter engine. Originally available for sale at less than Rs 5 lakhs, the specific amount Karan paid for this antique beauty remains a mystery. However, given its unique features, the Kitani Mohabbat Hai actor might have invested more than the original price to acquire this model. Sharing the post, Karan wrote, “Met this beauty in Munnar and instantly fell in love. One of the original Vauxhall’s which we later came to love as the iconic HM Contessa and guess what, I Had to have her in my garage and finally she’s here.”

In addition to his recently acquired HM Contessa, Karan Kundrra, known for his love of automobiles, has an impressive lineup of luxury vehicles in his garage. His collection includes a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, Mini Cooper, Ford Endeavour, Range Rover, Ducati Diavel and Harley Davidson.

Interestingly, Karan wasn’t the sole car enthusiast and artist who purchased recently, as Munawar Faruqui also joined the club by welcoming a black Range Rover to his collection. The Bigg Boss 17 winner had previously secured a Hyundai Creta, along with Rs. 50 lakhs and the trophy for winning the Salman Khan led show.

After hosting Temptation Island alongside Mouni Roy, Karan Kundrra garnered praise for his role in Thank You For Coming, starring Bhumi Pednekar. Now, the versatile actor is gearing up for the release of Tera Kya Hoga Lovely, where he’ll share the screen with Ileana D’Cruz and Randeep Hooda. The movie is scheduled to hit the screens on March 8. Additionally, fans can look forward to seeing Karan in the upcoming romantic series, Love Adhura.
