The Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC) has released the results for the HSSC CET Group D Exam 2023. Candidates who took part in the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Group D positions can now view and download their results from the official website at hssc.gov.in. The HSSC Group D exam, conducted to fill 13,536 vacancies, took place on October 21 and October 22, 2023, across various examination centres in the state during two sessions. The first shift happened from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM, while the second shift was conducted from 3:00 PM to 4:45 PM. To access their results, candidates need to use their login credentials, including the application number and date of birth.

HSSC CET Group D Result 2023: How to download

Step 1: Visit the official website athssc.gov.in. Once on the homepage, go to the Result tab. Select the ‘Haryana CET Group D Result 2023 Link.’

Step 2: Next, enter your Registration number, Date of birth and Captcha as required. The Haryana CET Result PDF will then be displayed on the screen. Take the time to review it carefully.

Step 3: Now, download and save the result for future reference.

In the results notice, HSSC mentioned, “The socio-economic criteria marks in the score card have been provisionally indicated but the same shall remain suspended till final outcome of CWP No.25781/2023 titled as Varun Bhardwaj Versus State of Haryana & Another and other connected matters.”

According to the commission’s data, a total of 13.75 lakh candidates registered for the Haryana CET. Out of this number, 8.5 lakh candidates participated in the exam. To calculate the results, the raw marks of candidates were converted into normalized marks, following the criteria specified for this purpose, which can be reviewed on the commission’s website.

The scorecards of the HSSC CET Group D examination will remain valid for a period of 3 years from the date of the result or until the recommendation for a candidate’s appointment is submitted to the relevant appointing authority by HSSC, whichever comes earlier, as stated by the commission.

The HSSC has highlighted the importance of biometric data captured during the examination, specifically fingerprints and photographs. This biometric information will undergo a thorough comparison and verification process before the actual joining of the candidate. If any misuse is identified, the candidate’s application will be rejected and there is the possibility of initiating criminal proceedings against the individual. Additionally, the commission further claimed that the eligibility criteria, self-declaration and supporting documents of eligible candidates will be verified as per the specified norms.
