Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj from the popular show Anupamaa, is celebrating his wife Akanksha Khanna’s birthday today. The actor marked the day with a pleasant surprise for his wife on social media. He shared a few candid pictures with his wife, along with an adorable note that wittingly summarises their relationship with each other. Akanksha and Gaurav got married in 2016.
In the special birthday post for Akanksha, Gaurav Khanna wrote, “Your birthday is basically like my second birthday. So. Any plans today? Those are the marriage rules. Years ago, you made your grand debut, and truly, the world hasn’t been the same since. For better and for worse. Gift spoiler : Having me in your life is the best present you could ask for anyways ! BTW which one is which in the last pic. Happy birthday.” He shared pictures from one of their recent dates. Akanksha was seen wearing a stunning red gown while Gaurav Khanna was dressed casually in a faded denim, graphic tee and cap.
Fans also wished Akanksha on the occasion and adored the duo. A user said, “Happy Birthday Ma’am, Have a great day and a lovely 2024 ahead,” while another commented, “Such an adorable pics.”
Last month, Gaurav Khanna celebrated his birthday, and Akanksha shared some glimpses from their celebration. She wrote, “You are one of the smartest men I know with a taste for the finer things in life, such as your gorgeous wife. I’m so glad that we’ll grow old together. Especially since you’ll always have a head start. Happy Birthday Handsome.” In the pictures shared by her, one could see the room is entirely decked with birthday balloons, cakes, flowers, and gifts. Gaurav, the birthday boy, donned a blue-and-white shirt and beige trousers while Akanksha donned a crimson dress. The duo were seen posing inside their house with bright smiles on their faces.
Gaurav Khanna began his acting career in 2000 with series such as Bhabhi, Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan, Meri Doli Tere Angana, Ardhangani, Love Ne Mila Di Jodi, and Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam, among others. He also appears as Senior Inspector Kavin on the popular criminal investigation show C.I.D. In 2021, he joined the cast of Anupamaa. The actor joined the show as Anupama’s (Rupali Ganguly) love interest and quickly became a fan favourite.
