The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has recently scrapped the language qualifying marks in the Teacher Appointment Test (TRE) 2.0. Effective from Monday, only scores from Part-I language qualification for classes I to V will contribute to the merit list. In the second phase of teacher appointments, candidates had to clear language questions in Part I, featuring a 30-mark examination. Each teacher category received a question booklet with 150 questions across three sections.
In section one, there were 30 language marks, which were previously qualifying but were discontinued by BPSC on Monday. Section two included 40 General Studies questions, while section three comprised 80 subject-related questions. The merit list will now be based on the scores from the 120 questions in both these sections.
BPSC is providing an opportunity for candidates appointed as teachers for classes 6 to 8, applying with a D.El.Ed from NIOS. If these candidates also hold a B.Ed qualification, they are allowed to provide their details. The Commission has set a deadline for making changes in their information, allowing candidates to do so until the 19th and 20th of December.
Candidates with both D.El.Ed from NIOS and a B.Ed qualification have been advised by BPSC to update their degrees. The Commission states that individuals who applied through NIOS based on D.El.Ed for the appointment of classes 6th to 8th and also holds a B.Ed certificate can choose to update their educational qualification to B.Ed if they wish to do so.
The Bihar Public Service Commission has issued the answer key for the BPSC TRE 2.0 2023 exam held on December 15. The provisional answer key and question booklets for Class 11 and 12 are now available for download on the official BPSC website at bpsc.bih.nic.in. Candidates can access and review the answer key through the provided platform.
