Agniveer Recruitment Rally To Begin In Udaipur On July 1

The Khelgaon campus is reportedly the venue for the recruitment.

A preparatory meeting was held recently under the direction of the District Collector under the chairmanship of Additional District Collector City, Rajiv Dwivedi.

Agniveer recruitment rally will be organised in Udaipur from July 1 to 10. More than seven and a half thousand candidates from across the state who have passed the written examination will participate in it. Colonel Singh, in charge of the recruitment rally from the Indian Army, said that the candidates who have passed the written examination from all the districts across the state will participate in the rally. It also includes districts like Udaipur, Banswara, Dungarpur and Pratapgarh. As per media reports, on average 1000 candidates will be tested every day. The Agniveer recruitment process will begin with a race. Further tests and other activities will take place to select the candidate.

Preparations are being made on the instructions of the District Collector to make the recruitment rally a success. The officials discussed the necessary arrangements regarding the venue of the recruitment rally and responsibilities have been assigned to the officers. The venue of the recruitment rally was decided to be Udaipur, as it was deemed to be the suitable choice.

The Khelgaon campus is reportedly the most suitable venue for the recruitment. The Agniveer Rally recruitment will select candidates for the following positions with the essential educational qualifications.

Agniveer Tradesman

Candidates who have passed class 8 with 33 per cent marks in each subject can apply. Apart from this, those who have passed class 10 with 33 per cent in all subjects can also apply.

Agniveer Clerk/Store Keeper

The candidates must be 12th pass in any stream Arts, Commerce or Science with an average 60 per cent marks. Minimum 50 per cent marks in English and Maths/Accounts are required.

Agniveer Technical

The candidates must have passed class 12th with Science (PCM) or have done ITI after Class 10 or any two or three-year technical diploma course to become eligible for Agniveer Technical.

Agniveer General Duty

The candidates must have passed boards with an average of 45 per cent marks. To get recruited into the army through the Agneepath scheme, the age of the candidates should be at least 17 years and a maximum of 21 years.
